Hello everyone,

Welcome to our brand new blog, Western New York Sports Minds. First things first: we do not, by any means, consider ourselves to be experts. We are simply knowledgeable, and reasonably well rounded sports fans looking to offer insight and spark intelligent discussion among our fellow fans. This of course means that while we will attempt to be objective with some posts and discussions, others may be biased (intentionally or unintentionally) toward our preferred teams. What will make it interesting is that although we all obviously support Buffalo teams, we have very different rooting interests apart from that, and heated discussions typically ensue.

Now, to outline what you can expect as far as actual content is concerned, we will all contribute posts/articles freely, both about Buffalo teams specifically and major sports issues elsewhere. In addition, we are what you could call "ranking junkies", so you will regularly find various Power Rankings, Player Rankings, and any other type of rankings we can think of. We've found that this is always a very interesting way to spark debates. You can also expect weekly predictions, season previews, and much more that we will come up with as we go. After all, we are all new to this, so this blog will only continue to develop as we get the hang of things. We sincerely hope that everyone will enjoy reading everything to come and will be compelled to respond and discuss these issues themselves!
